Iodine Recognized in KLAS 2022 Emerging Solutions Top 20 Report

9/15/2022

Austin, TX – September 15th, 2022 – Iodine Software has been named a Top 20 Emerging Solution by KLAS in their 2022 Emerging Solutions Top 20 Report. This marks the first report of this kind from KLAS. The Top 20 Emerging Solutions were selected by healthcare leaders across the country with the help of KLAS to find the solutions that had the greatest potential to disrupt the healthcare market. Solutions were rated by how well they could impact the Quadruple Aim of Healthcare: to improve outcomes, reduce the cost of care, improve patient experiences, and improve clinician experiences.

Iodine’s Interact was named a Top 5 solution for Improving Clinician Experience. Speaking on the award, William Chan, Iodine’s CEO and Co-Founder stated, “At the heart of it, Iodine is a group of problem solvers and we believe that we are building ground breaking solutions that can be utilized in healthcare environments, built on a foundation of artificial intelligence. The platforms that we have built using artificial intelligence we believe can transform the administrative tasks that clinicians have to perform and completely transform the work they will be doing for the future.”

Iodine’s Interact is a transformative query solution that simplifies CDI, coder collaboration, and physician response. Interact supports clinical documentation integrity by increasing query response rates and enabling proper reimbursement through more accurate coding and billing. The cloud-based, HIPAA-compliant platform makes it easy for physicians to respond to queries any time, and from anywhere. On average, physicians spend one minute responding to queries with the Interact app.

As technology vendors and service firms have the potential to drive outcomes for years to come, the Emerging Solutions Report is an effort to help healthcare organization identify promising potential partners in the face of a flood of new technologies. KLAS plans to continue publishing Top 20 reports as the range of measured companies expand. According to Adam Gale, KLAS Research CEO, “Because KLAS believes in the power of technology to improve healthcare, it only made sense to research emerging, new solutions. We set out to help providers cut through the hype in this market and we found some new technologies with real capabilities. The recent Top 20 report highlights those solutions with the greatest potential impact according to healthcare leaders.”

KLAS is an independent, third-party organization that reviews vendor solutions and publishes an annual report of its findings.
