Leadership

William Chan is CEO and co-founder of Iodine Software. His healthcare experience and expertise in designing technology platforms are guiding Iodine’s success in spearheading artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions for the healthcare industry.

Prior to Iodine, William was co-founder and vice president of Product at Crimson, a company focused on improving healthcare provider quality and profitability. Crimson was acquired by The Advisory Board Company, now part of Optum/United Healthcare (NYSE:UNH). William was also the co-founder and vice president of Marketing at WhisperWire, which was acquired by Convergys (now Concentrix), where he led product development efforts with the nation’s largest telecommunications providers. William also grew and managed the product marketing organization at Motive Communications (now part of Alcatel-Lucent), and was a product manager at Oracle Corporation and NetDynamics (now Sun Microsystems/Oracle).

William has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Cornell University and an MBA with honors from Harvard Business School. He holds multiple patents related to healthcare technology.

As a change agent and growth mindset leader, Amy brings over 20+ years experience in being a catalyst for start-ups, high-growth, pivotal turn around and high performing companies. In her role as Chief People Officer, she is responsible for human resources, organization development, fostering leadership and creating high performing inclusive cultures. Prior to joining Iodine, she has held leadership positions for Daimler AG, Epic Games, Activision Blizzard, and tech start-ups in the health and government sectors. Amy holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Northwood University and a MA in Strategic Human Resource Development from the University of Denver.

Michael Lovell is the CFO of Iodine. He brings over 25 years of financial, operational, and corporate banking experience. Prior to Iodine, Michael was CFO and SVP at Zenoss, a SaaS provider of IT solutions. He also served as CFO of Lifesize, a provider of SaaS and hardware video conferencing solutions, where he led the company through a successful spin-out from Logitech and was Director of FP&A during the company’s acquisition by Logitech. Michael began his career as a corporate banker with Wells Fargo Bank where he graduated from the company’s Credit Management Training and Loan Officer Development Programs. Michael has served on the Board of Trustees of The Cate School in Carpinteria, CA and for 10 years has coached and served as a board member of youth lacrosse in Austin, TX. Michael holds a BA in Political Science and Economics from Denison University.

Valerie Mondelli is a leader with over 25 years of experience and exceptional results in healthcare and financial data and technology. She has experience across markets including retail pharmacy, health systems, health plans, pharmaceutical manufacturers and e-commerce.

Most recently, Valerie was with RevSpring as Chief Commercial Officer and responsible for overall growth and market strategy for RevSpring. She enjoyed 5 years with her colleagues in building and growing RevSpring significantly into a complete end to end digital and payments platform ultimately leading to the sale of the company.

Prior to RevSpring, Valerie was also the Chief Revenue Officer at Verisys for three years. She built the growth strategy for Verisys, the leading provider of healthcare credentialing software and services. Under her leadership, Verisys helped retail, hospital, payer and government customers improve patient safety with each provider interaction.

Valerie has over 25 years of experience in diverse markets including healthcare information technology, software, financial network services and payment platforms and the pharmaceutical vertical. She started her career at Eli Lilly & Company, where she served in various sales and marketing roles. She then entered FinTech, where she served in various business development roles at FiServ. For over a decade, Valerie ran sales and account teams, operations and marketing teams at RelayHealth, a division of McKesson. She worked closely with retail, hospital and pharmaceutical customers to build the largest and leading pharmacy claims adjudication network, later acquiring Cover My Meds.

Valerie graduated from West Virginia University with a BS in Pharmacy and received her MBA at Georgia State University. Valerie was a Presidential Scholar at West Virginia University, has served on several boards including the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, WVU’s Pharmacy School Advisory Board and Georgia State’s Young Business Leaders. Valerie was recognized by Hot Topics in 2016 as one of the Top 100 U.S. Sales Leaders & Operations Executives and in 2023, she received an award by Drug Store News for top Women in Business.

In her spare time, Val loves to spend time with her 13 year old son Jack and visit with family and friends. She also likes to golf and travel and loves photography and working out. Recently, she and her son got electric dirt bikes (called Surrons) and enjoy riding in their neighborhood together.

A visionary and growth-focused executive with 15+ years of proven experience building cross functional customer-centric teams delivering outstanding business results. Brad’s passion for customers and focus on elevating their voice, aligns to Iodine’s values. Prior to joining Iodine, Wensel was the Head of Partners and Commercial Excellence at AWS, where he oversaw Partner Engagement and Business Strategy teams supporting U.S. Health Systems supporting cloud technology adoption and business transformation initiatives. He also held several senior leadership positions including the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer at Healthgrades, overseeing onboarding, support professional services, customer success and growth teams.

Priti Shah brings 20+ years of corporate and product strategy experience to the Iodine executive leadership team. In her role as Chief Product and Technology Officer, Priti is responsible for guiding the company’s platform strategy vision while overseeing the product, engineering and data science teams.

Shah joins Iodine from Finvi (formerly Ontario Systems), a leading provider of workflow automation and revenue recovery software, where she served as Chief Product Officer. Prior to joining Finvi, Shah was Vice President of Product and Solutions at Wolters Kluwer Health, where she oversaw the product strategy and execution of the global Clinical Effectiveness product portfolio, including UpToDate, Lexicomp, MediSpan and Emmi. She also has held several senior leadership positions in corporate and product strategy at Element K, Skillsoft and Citrix Systems.

Shah is a Harvard Business School Alumni of the GMP program and holds an MBA in corporate strategy and marketing from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

As COO, Josh Toub focuses on scaling Iodine Software to achieve our mission of using technology to transform healthcare processes, all the while keeping our customers’ data secure and promoting ethical behavior and compliance. Josh has more than 20 years of technology leadership experience having previously built and led business and technical teams at Blue Fish Development Group and Convergys, amongst other roles. Josh has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University and currently resides in Northern California.
